Case Nordic Hospitality: VSCY captured the F1 Abu Dhabi final weekend with two premium catering events on yachts

The F1 Abu Dhabi is the concluding weekend of the Formula 1 season at Yas Marina Circuit. During the race week, attention is at its highest, and premium hospitality must look as good as it feels. VSCY was on site capturing two premium catering events on yachts organized by Nordic Hospitality and produced material that works for both brand visibility and sales support.

Situation: F1 Final Week Content Cannot Be Created Retroactively

Abu Dhabi is the season finale weekend for Formula 1 and one of the year's most significant visibility moments. In 2025, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was held from 5th to 7th December at Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island.

In such an environment, a premium event is strong in itself, but its marketing value only comes alive when the atmosphere and quality are captured correctly. The content must look high-quality from the very first second and should be easy to publish quickly.

Nordic Hospitality creates high-level events and experiences in the United Arab Emirates while combining seamless event production with Nordic culinary concepts.

In this project, Nordic Hospitality was responsible for the execution of premium catering events for two yachts during F1 Abu Dhabi final week, and VSCY's task was to capture the whole experience in a way that conveys the quality without explanations.

Objective: Show Premium Quality and Ready-to-Use Material

The goal was to produce material that works for both organic publications and sales and partner use.

The objectives set were:

• a strong first impression, where the environment and quality are visible immediately
• details of food and presentation that build a premium feel
• service and event flow so that the overall experience looks controlled and smooth
• atmosphere and people, as hospitality is an experience
• a unified visual language between the two yachts so that the whole feels like one story

The core of Nordic Hospitality's approach is a comprehensive service, where the event is planned and executed to perfection. This is reflected in their service descriptions, such as fine dining experiences and comprehensive event planning.

Planning: two yachts, one shared story

The yachts are impressive yet demanding as a filming environment. Light reflects off surfaces, wind affects sound, and space is limited. Therefore, the production was built on a clear framework, so that the on-site focus is only on the essential.

Before the shooting days, the following were defined:

• key moments to be captured from both events
• visual language that highlights quality and details
• priorities to ensure that urgency does not disrupt the work
• content structure that makes publications easy to compile quickly

Execution on the yachts: food, service, and atmosphere in one package

Nordic Hospitality's strength is seamless event production and a culinary whole.

The focus during the shooting was on three aspects.

  1. Culinary excellence and presentation
The visual quality of food is one of the main aspects of hospitality content. Dishes, textures, table settings, and finishing touches were filmed so that the viewer understands the level at a glance. Nordic Hospitality emphasizes Nordic cuisine and quality, along with the importance of raw materials and presentation.

  2. Seamless event production in practice
A premium event looks effortless, even though precise production is behind the scenes. The rhythm of the event, the flow of service, and the teamwork were captured so that the overall conveys controlled and high-level execution.

  3. Guest experience
Hospitality is more than just food. It is the atmosphere and the manner in which people are welcomed. Therefore, situations, encounters, and the atmosphere that make the material lively and believable were filmed.

Content Structure: Hook First, Then Premium Details

During F1 final week, the audience makes decisions in seconds. Therefore, every clip was built so that the first image instantaneously conveys the level.

The effective structure in this environment was:

• an opening that shows the yacht's premium environment and the Abu Dhabi feel
• a detail that highlights the level of food, table setting, or service
• atmosphere where people and moments make the content authentic

This way, the content works even without long explanations and fits directly into social media.

Delivery: Publishable Material Package and Long-lasting Library

The goal was not just to create a single video but to build material that can be used for a long time and for various purposes. The content was created to support:

• brand visibility
• sales and references
• future collaborations
• showcasing events and concepts

What VSCY Executed in This Project

• documentation of premium catering events for two yachts during F1 Abu Dhabi final week
• a unified visual language and story across the two events
• documentation of the food, presentation, and service experience at a premium level
• a comprehensive material package that works both for publications and to support sales

Summary: When the Environment is World-Class, the Content Must Prove Quality Immediately

The environment during F1 Abu Dhabi final week is premium, but it also raises expectations. Nordic Hospitality's way of producing events and fine dining experiences sets the bar high, and VSCY's task was to make it visible in the content.
