Challenge:
Tubecon Games needed an experienced partner for organising esports tournaments and for managing gaming influencers at the event. The challenges included:
Planning and execution of tournaments: Fortnite and Minecraft tournaments required seamless execution and a high level of production.
Influencer acquisition: The event needed the right gaming influencers who would engage the audience and add value to the event.
Participant engagement: The gaming areas and event programme needed to be interesting and engaging.
Solution:
VSCY stepped in and took full responsibility for the gaming side of Tubecon Games, which included:
Building and managing the three largest gaming halls: We created an impressive gaming area at the event, where visitors could experience top-level gaming experiences.
Organising tournaments: We were responsible for the smooth running of both the Fortnite and Minecraft tournaments, from planning to execution.
Acquisition of gaming influencers and Meet N Greet events: We attracted some of Finland’s most popular gaming influencers to the event and arranged opportunities for the audience to meet them.
Content production and marketing: We produced TikTok and Instagram content for Tubecon Games, which increased the event's visibility and attracted more participants.
Results:
Tubecon Games attracted a record number of participants.
The popularity of the tournaments and influencer events exceeded expectations.
The event's organisation received positive feedback from players and the audience.
